Marisa Morgan-Bonie is proudly recognized as one of the awardees in the Class of 2026 for the 25 Influential Women Leaders Award, a distinction that celebrates women whose leadership, influence, and service continue to shape communities and inspire national progress. As the Media and Public Relations Director of Recover Guyana, Marisa has played a pivotal role in strengthening public engagement and amplifying national initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, and community development.

An award-winning Indian-Guyanese actress, television host, radio broadcaster, and creative director, Marisa has contributed more than two decades to the arts and media sector. Her work across theatre, film, television, and radio has earned multiple accolades while elevating Guyanese storytelling on both regional and diaspora platforms. Through her creative leadership, including the successful production of the television sitcom Jus Fuh Kicks, Marisa has demonstrated how culture and media can be powerful tools for national identity and social influence.
