Harry, 28 is Guyana’s reigning “green” queen. Miss Earth is an annual international environmental-themed beauty pageant competition promoting environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility affiliated and supported by the United Nations Environment Programme. This year, Harry will be representing Guyana at the world’s largest environmental event.
Harry intends to use her platform, “Beauties for a Cause” to spread awareness and influence public opinion through informational campaigns and broad outreach. Most importantly, providing kitchen garden starter kits to vulnerable families in promoting self-sustainability especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NGO aims at helping vulnerable communities and families with children to build, by providing a window of opportunities in the most sustainable manner. It will focus to help balance our economic, environmental and social needs, allowing prosperity for current and future generations, especially in remote communities in Guyana.
